System modification during operation

Adding a bus link with Compact FF Link
Perform the following steps in order to add a bus link and lower-level FF segment to an existing
system during operation.
1. Install the new bus link.
2. Connect the voltage supply of all modules,

To use a Compact FF Link that has been previously used in another system, you must first
restore it to its factory settings.

Connect the Compact FF Link to the DP master system that is connected to the CPU

Connect the left Compact FF Link to the S7-400H via the DP master system that is
