5.1

Installation rules for Compact FF Link

Mounting position
The Compact FF Link can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Open equipment
The Compact FF Link is open equipment. This means that they may only be installed in
enclosures, cabinets, or electrical service rooms that can only be accessed by using a key
or a tool. Only authorized personnel may have access to the enclosures, cabinets, or electrical
service rooms.
NOTICE
Compact FF Link and associated bus module
The Compact FF Link may only be operated with the "BM Compact FF Link" bus module.
● These components must not be operated in combination with other modules/bus modules.
● The use of a bus connector is not permitted.
Failure to observe this information may result in irreparable electrical damage to the utilized
components!
Mounting system
The Compact FF Link is installed on mounting rails. Free space of 40 mm must be maintained
above and below the modules for trouble-free mounting.
