3) FPC Design
(1) Design the FPC based on the recommended dimensions to ensure
the required connector performance.
(2) Make sure that connector positioning and FPC length are appropriate
to prevent diagonal insertion of the FPC.
FPC may become loose due to drop impact and vibration depending on size,
weight, and turning of FPC board. Carefully check the FPC condition
in the device.Design the device to prevent the FPC from detaching.
(3) Precautions for using Y5BW
Do not apply bending load to the cutout part of
FPC. Bending stress is easy to be concentrated
in the cutout part of FPC. And it may cause of FPC
disconnection or deformation.
(4) If you want to check the FPC insertion position,
you are recommended to make the checking
tabs of FPC insertion position. However, please
design (a), (b) dimension yourself on the right
with considering surrounding components.
