Firmware Update Mode

The EIS001 firmware consists of the ETM001 firmware plus the IEC 104 Server specific
firmware, and an Emerson installed license.
Each firmware upgrade may be obtained from the Emerson support web-site as a uniquely-
identified ZIP file. The ZIP file must be downloaded to a computer which can be connected
to the host RX3i CPU. Each ZIP file includes instructions specific to the target product.
The updated firmware may then be passed to the EIS001 through the host RX3i CPU using
the WinLoader utility. The CPU must be in STOP mode in order to deliver the firmware
upgrade through the Serial port on the CPU.
