6.4

Energy saving mode and proximity sensor

6.4.1

RM-2 energy saving mode

The module will switch to energy saving mode if it has not been used
in 5 minutes. The backlighting will be dimmed, and the display will
only show the current room temperature along with the time / outside
temperature.
To exit energy saving mode
► The module will detect anyone within approx. 5 cm.
6.4.2

RM-2 Wireless energy saving mode

The module enters energy saving mode in two stages:
Stage 1: the background lighting will be dimmed if the module has
not been used in the last 15 seconds.
Stage 2: the display will be deactivated after another 15 seconds.
To exit energy saving mode
► Pick up the RM-2 Wireless.
► If wall-mounted: Hold the WOLF logo down for approx. 1 second.
6.5

Outside temperature / time display

As standard, the lower 7-segment display of the RM-2
alternates between the time and any
outside temperature readings.
The time is taken from
– The system controller if the unit is used as a remote control.
– If it is used as a (room temperature) controller, you will need to
set the time in the menu (P 01).
