10. Insert the thickness gauge gradually against the printhead nose by pressing
the MICRO FEED (
MICRO FEED (v) button. )
11. Attach the tension gauge to the hole in the thickness gauge and pull it straight
to the right. (Refer to Figure 4-11.)
12. Set the BETA value when the tension gauge indicates 150 gf, and the tension
gauge can move right by a degree.
13. After completing this adjustment, turn the printer off, and rotate the PG drive
gear manually toward you to remove the thickness gauge.
When you remove the thickness gaugeforcibly without using the PG drivegear, the
perform step 13 before turning off theprinter.
