3.0 SeTTING UP The ANAlYZeR
3.1 Preliminary Steps
Before usng the analyzer . . .
• Check batteres (Secton 3.2)
• Connect probe to analyzer (Secton 3.3)
• Check setup (Secton 3.5)
3.2 Checking & Replacing the Batteries
Install fresh batteres as descrbed below. Check the analyzer for suffcent
charge pror to each use. Replace the batteres f the low-battery symbol
appears n the lower rght corner of the screen. To replace the bat-
teres:
1. Remove battery cover from back of analyzer.
2. If old batteres are nstalled, remove them and properly dscard.
3. Observng the polarty markngs nsde the battery compartment,
nstall four 'AA' Alkalne batteres as shown n Fgure 3-1.
4. Replace battery cover.
