If the distance to the control cabinet PC does not exceed 5 m, the USB con‐
nection to the VDP can be executed in the USB 2.0 mode by using an additional
USB 2.0 cable. The S1-switch 2 must be in the "OFF" position.
If the cable is not used, the USB connection is executed using the USB 1.1.
The USB connection is executed in the USB1.1 mode. The S1-switch 2 must
be in the "OFF" position.
The USB connection is executed in the limited full speed mode. Only keyboards
and mice can be connected to the VDP. It is not allowed to integrate internal
30m
HUBs into these USB devices. Other USB devices, such as memory sticks, are
not supported. The S1-switch 2 must be in the "ON" position.

The connection is designed as spring terminal FK-MCP 1,5/3-ST-3,5, 3-pin,
grid 3.5 mm. To this connector terminal, cables with a cross section of maximum
1.5 mm
can be connected. For terminal connectors use copper conductors

only.
Material damages to electronics due to missing functional earth ground
connection!
Please ensure that the functional earth ground is connected, since the elec‐
tronics can be destroyed by a potential difference between the VDP 92.3 and
the VSBxx.3 or the VPBxx.3 if the voltage supply is interrupted at one device
only and established again.
The VDP is supplied with 24 V via X1S1.
