1. Remove the carburetor. Refer to
carburetor on page 18 .
2. Push in the lower part of the throttle lock with a V-
jaw adjustable pliers.
3. Lift the lower part of the throttle lock and pull it out
from the pin.
4. Remove the screw and the right handle side.
5. Push out the spindle to the right side. Use a rod with
a diameter of 0.08–1.0 in./2–2.5 mm and minimum 4
in./10 mm in length.

The throttle lock operates correctly if the throttle is
locked at idle speed.
