1.TROUBLESHOOTING FOR THE HARDWARE
Message
Fax line1 (or line2) is not
installed.
This original is copy protected
DEPARTMENT Quota exceeded.

The 1st (or 2nd) line for the fax
unit is not installed.
An attempt is made to copy a
prohibited original.
The copying, printing or
scanning quota to the
department has reached "0".
Internal memory available ran
out while scanning.

scanning quota to the user has
reached "0".
The copying, printing or
scanning quota to the user and
department has reached "0".
An obstruction is placed under
the Finisher tray.
The number of originals to be
scanned has exceeded the limit
of 1000 sheets during scanning.
(The magazine sort or page
number function is used.)
The number of originals to be
scanned has exceeded the limit
of 1000 sheets during scanning.
The status of the internal
storage device is being checked.
Due to the malfunction in the
internal storage device, its
replacement is required.
Although the internal storage
device is being worked
properly, periodical backup of
the data in the internal storage
device is recommended just in
case.
Corrective Action
Contact your service representative.

To print out the data for the originals stored
(scanned) until the message appeared, press
[Yes] on the touch panel. To delete the stored
data, press [No].
