To perform installation for Universal Printer2 driver and other client software, you must log onto Windows with the
"Administrator" account.
Even when you have logged on Windows with the "Administrator" account, the [User Account Control] dialog box
may appear. In this case, click a button for allowing the operation, such as [Continue], and then continue.
Even if you have logged on with a user account other than "Administrator", entering an administrator password
upon display of the [User Account Control] dialog box enables you to perform the installation by temporarily
changing the user account.
If Windows Vista or later / Windows Server 2008 or later is used, you can perform the installation from the installer
by temporarily changing the user account following the procedure below.
- Open the "e-STUDIO" folder in the Install Disc, and then double-click "Setup.exe".
- When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, enter an administrator password, and then click [Yes]
([OK]).
If Windows Vista or later / Windows Server 2008 or later is used, you can perform the installation by temporarily
changing the user account following the procedure below.
- Click the file name link for the printer driver.
- When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, enter an administrator password, and then click [Yes]
([OK]).
When all or any of the Remote Scan driver, TWAIN driver or WIA driver is installed in your computer in which
Microsoft Office 2013 or later is installed, TOSHIBA Office Scan Add-In is installed automatically.
When the Web Service printer driver is installed in Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008, the driver for Web
Services Scanning is also installed together with the client software.
