4. Application of grease

1. In the case the parts to be applied/filled with grease are disassembled and in the case the machine is
used more frequently than usual, grease should be added once every one or two years.
2. Grease to be used
JUKI grease A
• Tube (10 g) JUKI part number: 40006323
• Tube (100 g) JUKI part number: 23640204
3. How to fill grease
If you do not have a grease pump, it is recommended to fill a plastic oiler with grease or to use a syringe
with its needle removed for easier filling of grease.
• Exclusive syringe for application: JUKI part number: GDS01007000

1) Open the lower heat wire safety cover.
2) Apply JUKI grease A to sliding sections ❶ and ❷
of the lower heat wire link.
1) Apply JUKI grease A to fulcrum section ❸ of the
lower heat wire cylinder.
Fulcrum section ❸ of the lower heat wire cylinder
can be observed by looking inside the safety cov-
er from the rear of sewing machine.
1) Remove the needle thread heat cutter cover
screw to open the cover.
2) Apply JUKI grease A to sliding section ❹ of the
upper heat wire link and to fulcrum section ❺ of
the upper heat wire cylinder.
