Extending the functionality of the phone
Registering a handset with multiple bases
Your handset can be registered with up to four bases. The active base station is the base station
to which the handset was last registered. The other base stations remain saved in the list of avail-
able base stations.

Change active base station:

Select base or Best Base
Best Base: The handset chooses the base with the best reception as soon as it loses the
connection to the current base.
De-registering a handset
You can de-register any other registered handset from any registered Gigaset handset.

Select the internal user to be de-registered. (The handset you are currently using is
marked with <.)

Locating a handset (paging)
Locate a handset using the base.

Briefly press the Register/Paging key on the base . . . all handsets registered ring at the same
time even when their ringtones are turned off.
