Quick Dial

To save time, you can program a fax
number that you use often into a
Quick Dial key. Then, whenever you
are sending a message to that loca-
tion, just press that Quick Dial key to
dial.
You can program the following items
in each key:

❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Destination fax number
You can program the destination
fax number using up to 254 digits.
You can also select SUB code, SEP
code, SID, PWD (maximum 20 digits),
Tone, and Pause. See p.47 "SUB/SID
(SUB Code Transmission)", Ad-
vanced Features ; p.49 "SEP/PWD
(SEP Code Polling Transmission)",
Advanced Features ; p.46 "Tone",
and p.46 "Pause".

You can program the destination
name using up to 20 characters.

• Label (whether to print the des-
tination name on faxes sent to
this number)
• Select Fax Header
You can select to print Fax
Header1 or Fax Header2 on the
fax messages that the other par-
ty receives.

❒ We recommend that you print the
Quick Dial list and keep it when
you program or change fax num-
bers. See p.110 "Reports/Lists",

key is being used for a standby
