- lay down the engine ground cable (8), onto
negative cable (7) and start screw (4) on these
cables;
- tighten the terminal retaining screws (4);
- apply grease around the battery terminals to
prevent oxidation.
- reinstall the battery (3) in the support,
positioning the cables as shown in (Fig 173);
- refit battery mounting cover (2) and fasten it by
tightening the screw (1).
- refit the left-hand side fairing.
