Charging the battery

Before charging the battery, it is best to remove it
from the motorcycle.
Removing the battery
- Remove the left-hand side fairing;
- undo the screw (1) and remove the battery
mounting cover (2).
- remove battery (3) from its seat;
- always starting from the negative terminal (-),
loosen the screws (4).
- remove the negative cable (7) and engine
ground cable (8) from the negative terminal;
- remove the positive cable (5) and ABS positive
cable (6) from the positive terminal.
