TELNET CONNECTIONS
Prior to accessing a module via a network connection, you must first configure the module with a
valid IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway using an out-of-band connection or the BOOTP
protocol.
Once the module is configured, you can establish a Telnet session from any TCP/IP based node on
the network. Telnet connections to the module require the community name passwords assigned in
the SNMP Configuration screen.
