7.16 STATIC UNICAST ADDRESS TABLE CONFIGURATION SCREEN

When to Use
To manually configure host MAC addresses in the unicast table. You can use this screen to
associate a MAC address with a specific VLAN ID and switch port.
You can also lock a port to a particular MAC Address or the first MAC address received by the port
to prevent other users (MAC Addresses) from using that port. When a port is locked, broadcast and
multicast packets are processed over the link as well as the locked MAC address packets.

Select the Static Port VLAN ID (PVID) to which the
incoming untagged frames on this port are assigned.
See the current PVID, which may be different from the
Static PVID due to a policy setting/authentication override.
If the current PVID is due to an override, the character will
be displayed in bold type.
Select the frame type (TAGGED, UNTAGGED, or ALL)
that the module will accept on this port. Note that back in
Figure
or VLAN untagged frames) received on this port are
assigned to the PVID for this port.
Set the Ingress Filtering on this port to TRUE or FALSE. If
set to TRUE, incoming frames for VLANs, which do not
include this port in their member set, will be discarded at
the inbound port. If set to FALSE, all frames will be
accepted on this port.
