1. If there is an optional NEM installed on the main board of the 7H4382‐25, proceed to
step 1a. Otherwise proceed to step 2.

Note: Prior to removing the DRAM SIMM in a 7H4382-25, you must remove the network
expansion module (NEM) to gain access to the DRAM SIMM memory and connector.
Remove and save the three screws attaching the NEM to the front panel and to the
standoff on the main PC board.
