COOLING SYSTEM
10. Remove the coolant reservoir/oil tank 1
and drain the coolant.
11. Install:
S Coolant reservoir/oil tank
12. Inspect:
S Gasket (coolant drain bolt)
Damage ! Replace.
13. Install:
S Gasket
S Coolant drain bolt
S Exhaust pipe/gaskets
S Muffler
Coolant drain bolt:
13 Nm (1.3 mSkg, 9.4 ftSlb)
Bolt (exhaust pipe):
27 Nm (2.7 mSkg, 19 ftSlb)
14. Fill:
S Cooling system
Recommended coolant:
Long life coolant
Coolant and water mixed ratio:
60%: 40%
Total amount:
3.4 L (3.0 Imp qt, 3.6 US qt)
Reservoir tank capacity:
0.17 L (0.15 Imp qt, 0.18 US qt)
CAUTION:
S Hard water or salt water is harmful to en-
gine parts. If soft water is not available, use
boiled or distilled water.
S Do not use water containing impurities or
oil.
15. Bleed the air from the cooling system.
