Differential Feed Dial (DF Setting)

Differential feed may be set from 0.5 to 2. The
1 setting represents a 1 to 1 feeding ratio, the
most commonly used setting. See differential
feed recommendations for individual stitch
types on pages 36-42.

Stitch Width Finger

Your machine comes equipped with the rolled
hem plate. You can do all overlock stitches by
engaging or disengaging the stitch width finger.

"N" Setting
Lever engages the stitch width finger for a wide
overlock result.
"R" Setting
Lever disengages the stitch width finger for either
Rolled Hem 3 or Narrow Hem 3 stitch.
