Removing Presser Foot

1. Switch OFF the machine. Turn the flywheel
toward you to raise the needle(s) to their
highest position.
Raise the presser foot.
2. Remove the presser foot by pushing
the lever on back side of shaft. Move
the presser foot off to the left side.

Attaching Presser Foot

1. Machine should remain off with needles
in highest position and presser foot lever
up.
2. Place presser foot pin directly underneath
groove in shaft. Lower the presser foot
lever and foot will snap back into place.

Stitch Length Dial (SL Setting)

"N" is equal to a 2.5 mm stitch length, the
standard setting for many stitch types. See
stitch length recommendations for individual
stitch types on pages 36-42.
