Emergency Eject
The procedure described below can be used to remove a disc from the CD-ROM
reader if the Open/Close button is disabled by software or a power failure occurs.

By pushing the Open/Close button the CD tray is smoothly opened. Place the

Risk of data loss and damage to the drive!
CD-ROM drives are sensitive to vibrations and shock. Any vibrations occuring
during operation can lead to damage to the drive or CD.
Additional Slots
The PG 760 PII is equipped with additional slots for disk drives and
expansion modules. For further information refer to Chapter 4 of the manual.
The manual is available in electronic format on the back-up CD supplied.
Back-Up Battery
A back-up battery (3.6 V lithium battery) powers the hardware clock even
after the PG is switched off.

There may be a danger of explosion if the battery is not handled properly.
Incorrect disposal of used batteries can cause the release of harmful
substances.
Do not throw a new or discharged lithium battery into an open fire, do not

battery by force.
The correct lithium battery is available from Siemens (Order No.:

Return used batteries to the manufacturer/recycler or dispose of them
