3 Highlight the required message and select Read.
4 Press the PTT button.
The radio displays a list of numbers, including the number of the sender.
5 To call, select the required number and do one of the following:
Press the PTT button.
Press the Send key.
6 Press Ctype to select one of the following type of calls:
Private
Phone
PABX
7 Do one of the following to initiate the call:
Press the PTT button.
Press the Send key.

Making Group Calls on the Talkgroup of the Message Sender

The Embedded Number feature is enabled by your service provider.
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 Select Messages→Inbox.
3 Select the required message and press the PTT button.

Immediate Text Message

NOTE: This is a Software Selling Feature.
When you receive a new immediate text message, the radio plays the New Mail Received tone.
All immediate text messages are stored in the Inbox folder. If the radio is in the PIN Lock state,
immediate text message is displayed after you enter the correct PIN.
The message remains on the screen until you press the End/Home key.
Enhanced Immediate Text Message
NOTE: This is a Software Selling Feature.
When receiving immediate text message, the Enhanced Immediate Text Messaging feature prioritize
displaying private call, group call, change of talkgroups, or change of volume before displaying
immediate text message.
Upon receiving the immediate text message, you can perform the following action:
Send group status message through OTB.
Initiate Private Call through OTB.
Select group using the rotary knob.
