The instrument is induction sensing and does not
need to be connected directly to the ignition lead.
The air filter cover can be fitted when testing.
The supplied antenna cable does not normally
need to be used.
Adjusting outdoors
Naturally the idle speed must be adjusted outdoors
because of exhaust fumes.
The cutting blade must be fitted.
– Run the machine warm for approximately 5
minutes.
– Keep the instrument with the arrow directed
downwards towards the position of the spark
plug.
– Adjust the idle screw to an idle speed of ap-
proximately 2500 rpm. The cutting blade must
not rotate at this speed.
If the cutting blade rotates the clutch is defec-
tive and must be fixed.
