Dismantling into basic modules
2. Release the inlet manifold from the cylinder by
opening the hose clamp (1) with a screwdriver.
3. Remove the impulse hose (2) from the flange
(4) and push down the insulation wall (3).
4. Remove the flange (4) from the inlet manifold.
5. Examine the components for dust and leaks.
ASSEMBLY
Assemble the inlet manifold in the reveresed order
given above. Be extremely careful to fit the plastic
flange on the rubber inlet pipe in the proper orien-
tation to avoid leaks.
7.11. INLET NOZZLE
The cylinder must be dismantled before the inlet
nozzle can be removed. Dismantling the cylinder is
described in chapter 7.10 page 22.
1. Dismantle the screw and pull out the nozzle.
7.12. ANTI-VIBRATION
Several service work operations can be facilitated
by dividing the machine at the anti-vibration ele-
ments. The following must be done before dividing:
remove the air filter unit and cylinder cover
remove the starter
loosen the cable lug on the ignition module and
stop button and detach the air line
detach the water hose at the valve
pull the fuel line from the carburettor
remove the throttle wire at the carburettor
The engine unit is attached to the handle unit at
six points with antivibration elements in the form of
springs and rubber dampers.
