3. Maintenance

The method of cleaning the Suction Cap is the same as the cleaning method for the
Moisturizing Caps.
However, there is a vacuum cap inset inside the cap. Clean it carefully so as not to shift or
detach this part. Be sure to return the parts when the parts inside the cap are displaced or
removed. Press down until the spring bottoms out. If parts are not returned properly, nozzle
clogging could occur.

Wipe off any excess cleaning liquid with a dry applicator if necessary.
For parts inside the Suction Cap, it is necessary that the solid ink or the stuck ink is removed.
Clean the Wiper and Wiper Cleaner.

Clean the top of the frame of the Wiper Cleaner.
