Adjusting speaker fader
Fade control allows you to adjust the sound
distribution between the front and rear
speakers. Push the "AUDIO" button
repeatedly until the display reads "FADE."
Push the right (+) side of the "VOLUME"
button to shift the sound to the front
speakers, and push the left ( ) side to shift
the sound to the rear speakers.
NOTE: Illuminated bars in the display show
relative levels of bass and treble, and
positions of speaker balance and fader
functions (left to right, front to rear).
Using the Controls of Your Cassette Tape
Player
NOTE: Radio power must be on to use the
cassette tape player or eject a tape.
NOTE: Adjust the volume, treble, bass, balance
and fader controls in the same manner
as for radio stations.
How to insert a tape
Your cassette tape player is equipped with
power loading. Once you insert a tape and push
slightly (with the open edge to the right), the
loading mechanism draws the tape the rest of
the way in and play will begin after a
momentary tape tightening process. Display
indicates "M" (for metal/CrO
playing.
NOTE: A cassette tape can be loaded and
stored with the ignition and radio
power off.
