Setting the date and time

Date and time are used for logging events. The operation of the device does not depend on the date and time; an Extreme device with an
incorrect date and time value functions properly. Because the date and time are used for logging, error detection, and troubleshooting,
you should set them correctly.

Backing up the configuration

Extreme recommends backing up the configuration on a regular basis to ensure that a complete configuration is available for
downloading to a replacement device.
