Using additional handsets

You can use up to five GAP compatible handsets with your BT
Elements base to extend your phone system without needing
to install extension sockets for each new phone.
Your BT Elements handset can be registered to up to 4 bases.
You can then select the base you would prefer
to use.
You need to register any additional handsets you purchase to
your BT Elements base.

Registering a new BT Elements handset

At the base:
1. Press and hold
The base will now remain in registration mode for 90 seconds,
during which time you will need to complete the following
procedure.
At the new handset:
Menu
2. Press
to open the main menu.

5. Enter a base number (from 1 to 4) and press
