Before transmitting a picture to another Bluetooth device such as a mobile phone or
a PDA, please ensure that the following Bluetooth settings are configured in the
device to which you are transmitting:
1. Install the necessary software or drivers if applicable.
2. Customize the device name.
3. Change the Bluetooth security level to low.
4. Set the device to be "discoverable."
• The camera is discoverable once it is powered on.
For information on how to change these settings, please refer to the device's
documentation.
Transmitting a picture from the camera to another Bluetooth device:

• If you are sending a picture to a mobile phone or a PDA, ensure that the
picture was captured in Economy mode image quality (p.24) and 640 x 480
resolution (p.23)
• Pictures that are being transmitted to a device using a USB Bluetooth
Wireless Adaptor can be any size.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Press until Transmit is highlighted.
5. Press the OK button.
• A "Searching..." screen will be displayed while the camera searches for
Bluetooth compatible devices that are in range.
• After approximately 15 seconds, a list will display the names of the Bluetooth
devices that are in range.

7. Press the OK button to begin transmission.
8. The device to which you are transmitting may prompt you to accept the
incoming file from the camera. Select Yes.
• The status of the transmission will appear on the camera and on the device.
9. After the transfer is complete, locate the directory where pictures are stored on
the device to view the transferred picture.
