Taking pictures
This is how it works:
Using the different
shooting modes
In the Multishot 16 mode,
16 pictures will be taken at
intervals of approx. two
seconds. However, these will
all be combined in one
frame (multishot).
Flash is not available in this
mode.
In the Self-timer mode, the
shutter will be released 10
seconds after depression of
the shutter release. The red
lamp on the camera front
will blink ever more rapidly,
reflecting the countdown. In
addition, a beep will be
heard. This can be disabled
via the Set menu and the
mode dial under Beep.

This is what it's for:
Be sure to experiment with
this attractive feature. If your
subject moves during the
series or if you vary the
framing slightly, the result
will be particularly fasci-
nating.
When pressing the shutter
release, be sure not to stand
in front of the camera.
Instead, look through the
viewfinder. Otherwise, the
camera might focus on your
chest or some distance in
front of the actual subject.
If your main subject is
off-center, use focus lock
with the shutter release
pressed halfway. See
Autofocus / Focusing.
