Guidelines for Entering Information
The following section explains how to enter user information into the
MultiPASS C20.

If you pause while entering information and do not make an entry
for more than 60 seconds, the MultiPASS C20 returns to standby
mode and loses all information you had entered up to that point.
You will then have to start again.
If the MultiPASS C20 rings while you are entering information, press
the
phone: The MultiPASS C20 will automatically save all the
information you have entered up to the last time you pressed the
(START/COPY) button.
• If you hear nothing or a slow beep, someone is trying to send a
fax: press the
• If you hear a voice, you are receiving a normal telephone call.
• If your MultiPASS C20 is set to receive faxes automatically, you do
not have to press the
automatically receive the fax. See "Receiving Faxes" on page 3-43.
Entering a Name
To enter a name (such as "Unit Name"), use the numeric buttons. Each
numeric button has a number and a group of uppercase and lowercase
letters assigned to it. The chart below shows which number to press for
each character.
