Installing the Brother Printer and Scanner
Drivers

Turn on the power to your Macintosh and wait for the startup process to be
completed.

Insert the Brother CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The window below will
appear automatically.

To install the printer and
scanner drivers, click
MFL Pro Driver
Installer.

After installation is
completed, connect a
standard USB cable to
both the MFC and the
Macintosh.
Restart your Macintosh so it can recognize the new drivers.
Note
Installing PaperPort
PaperPort is a document management application used to view scanned
documents.

Insert the Brother CD-ROM.

Click the PaperPort

Follow the instructions.
