These instructions are applicable only for laptops with a non-touch screen display.
1. Remove the battery.
2. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in

1. Remove the screws that secure the display hinges to the palm-rest assembly and open the hinges to an angle of 90 degrees.
2. Note the antenna cable routing and remove the cable from its routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
3. Note the display cable routing and remove the cable from its routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
