Back Up Videos to a USB Flash Drive

There are two ways to access the BACKUP screen to start your USB flash drive backup:
• From Live View, click the Playback button at the bottom of the screen and then click
the Backup button at the bottom of the PLAYBACK screen.
• Click MENU > EXPORT and click the Plus symbol (+) from the BACKUP screen.
When you access the Backup screen using one of the two methods listed above, complete
these steps to back up your videos to a USB flash drive:
1. Under SOURCE, choose the data type:
• Choose VIDEO if you wish to back up a video of the recorded event.
• Choose LOG if you want to back up a log of the events. The log shows different
event types, including: motion, alarm, system, timer, and human detection. This
allows you to see a detailed activity history. When backed up, it is exported as a
.CSV file and broken down by Date, Time, Kind of Event, and Channel.
