Adjusting the safety switch
position
If the processing method used for the table leaves too
much space between the machine head and the table
hole, it may adversely affect the operation of the safety
switch (2), and so the position of the safety switch
should be adjusted in such cases.
Safety switch position adjustment method
The standard amount of clearance between the
machine bed (4) and the table hole (5) is 1.5 mm.

If the clearance is 3.5 mm or more, install the
safety switch (2) so that the washer (3) is on the
machine head side as shown in Figure [B].
If the position cannot be satisfactorily adjusted in
this way, add more washers of the same thickness.
Safety switch operation
Clearance (1) is wide and spring stroke is small
• Safety switch does not operate.
• Reduce the clearance.
By changing the position of the safety switch, the
required spring stroke can be maintained.
The clearance (1) is reduced and the spring stroke
is maintained.
