PISTON RING SIDE CLEARANCE

0.0150 ~ 0.0560 mm

When any piston ring exceeds the service limit, replace all the piston
rings as a set.
PISTON RING END GAP
Put the piston ring in the cylinder and then use the piston crown to
push the ring down. This will make the piston ring horizontal so ring
end gap can be measured.
0.100 ~ 0.250 mm

(0.004 ~ 0.010 in)
Because the combination oil rings are used on this model, always
replace the piston rings as a set.
