IGNITION COIL AIR GAP ADJUSTMENT
Adjustment is required only when the ignition coil or the flywheel has
been removed.
1. Loosen the ignition coil bolts.
2. Insert a feeler gauge between the ignition coil and the magnetic
part of the flywheel.
3. Push the ignition coil firmly toward the flywheel and tighten the
bolts.
Adjust the clearance at the magnetic part of the flywheel.
To make sure the gaps at both the right and left sides of the
ignition coil are equal, adjust both gaps at the same time.
TORQUE: 3.4 N•m (0.35 kg•m, 30 in•lb)
Specified clearance
STARTER PULLEY/ CLUTCH / IGNITION COIL / FLYWHEEL
0.2 ~ 0.4 mm (0.008 ~ 0.016 in)
