SPOT METERING MODE

The Spot metering mode is used to obtain the right exposure
regardless of the backlight. Place the subject in the center of the
autofocus marks.

In the Record mode, turn on the LCD monitor and press
the bottom arrow on the Jog dial to select
• When the LCD monitor is off, press the OK button, and look at
the control panel. Use the Jog dial to make a selection.

Press the right arrow on the Jog dial to select
• appears on the control panel.
• Select to cancel the Spot metering mode.

Take a picture.
Note:
• The Spot metering mode will remain even after a picture is
taken, but will be canceled when the lens barrier is closed.
