REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Rear Wheel/Hub Motor/Battery Replacement Continued
Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver, 4 mm Allen Wrench, Two (2) 19 mm Wrenches, Two (2) 10 mm Wrenches,
Two (2) 8 mm Wrenches (not included)

With two (2) 19 mm wrenches, loosen the axle
locknuts. Push down and remove the wheel from
the frame.

Install the cable guide bracket to the frame and brake
plate using bolt, washers, and nut. Do not tighten.

Tighten the cable guide bracket bolt. Tighten the
locknuts on the rear axle. Test the brake to verify proper
function before riding. Readjust as needed.

Install the new wheel on the frame. Put
the wire into the guider. Hand tighten the rear
axle locknuts.

barrel, through the large spring, and into the small hole
in the side of the anchor bolt. Position the cable to the
original location (as indicated by the slight cable kink)
and tighten securely.

reverse steps 1 through 5. A: Small screw size, B: Allen
bolt, C: Large screw size
Thread the brake cable through the brake adjuster
To install the replacement battery / hub motor,
