Power button board
Before removing the power button board, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the access panel
3.
Remove the optical drive
4.
Remove the drive cage
5.
Remove the front bezel
Remove the power button board:
1.
Remove the two Phillips screws (1) that secure the power button board to the front bezel.
2.
Remove the power button board (2) from the front bezel.
3.
If it is necessary to replace the power button board cable, disconnect the cable from the connector (3) on
the power button board.
4.
Remove the power button board.
To install the power button board, reverse the removal procedure.
