Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the hard drive.
4. Remove the system board.
Procedure
1. Lift the latches and disconnect the keyboard cable and keyboard-backlight cable from the keyboard-controls board.
2. Peel off the Mylar to access the screws that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
