EXCALIBUR SE ICONS SETUP
Video Class
The Video Class icons are used similar to fixed camera icons
to view the output of a VCR, Quad, or Phoneline video on a
selected monitor.
The Video Class Icon Setup dialog box, above, has two
sections. In the top section, an icon description must be
entered. This description is displayed in the dialog box for that
icon when it is activated in Excalibur SE. Enter the number of
the switcher that this input is connected to. The switcher
number entered must be for a valid switcher that is connected
and set up.
The lower section of the dialog box requires a Switcher Input
number that the video input is connected to, and a Switcher
Monitor number to route this video input to.
After all data is entered as desired, select the "OK" button to
save the icon setup data and close the dialog box. Select the
"Cancel" button to exit without saving the icon setup
information. See page 4-2 for restrictions on using the
"Delete" button.
Map Class
The Map class icon is used to call up another map.
The Map Class Icon Setup dialog box, above, has only one
entry. Select the name of the map file to callup from this icon
from the list of map files. Click the mouse on the arrow at the
right of the Map to Call box to scroll through the available map
files in the data directory.
When the desired map file is displayed in the file name box,
select the "OK" button to save the selection and close the
dialog box. Select the "Cancel" button to exit from this dialog
box without saving the icon setup information. See page 4-2
for restrictions on using the "Delete" button.
EXITING EXCALIBUR SE ICONS SETUP
When icon setup is complete, select Exit from the Excalibur
SE Icons Setup menu bar. The icon setup data from the Icons
Setup program is saved in the following files:
ICONSCRN.SDB
ICONAD.SDB
