The application reports "Modem Initialization
Error" or similar message. The PC will not
communicate with the TA/V.34 or TA or cannot
find the card.
There may be a resource conflict with the COM port or
IRQ selected. Confirm that the application and the
TA/V.34, or TA, are both configured to use the same
COM port.
See Chapter 2 sections on configuring Windows 95 or
3.1 (or 3.11).
The ISDN card may be improperly seated in the ISA
socket on the PC motherboard. See Chapter 2,
Installing the Hardware .
There may be a hardware problem either in your PC or
in the ISDN board. Call your retailer for technical
support.
The ISDN card takes too long to hang up at the end
of a call.
Your ISDN card may not be receiving the required
initialization string, which should include the &C1
setting, from your software.
Type +++ ATH to hang up.
Make sure you have selected your ISDN card in your
software. If not, select it and exit and restart your
communications software. If you still have problems,
add &C1 to the initialization string and exit and restart
the software. (See Tips for Selecting Setup Options in
Chapter 3.)
You receive an ERROR response when trying to
execute a command.
Check whether the command is valid and that you have
typed it correctly.
Be sure your command line contains fewer than 255
characters.

The ISDN card does not auto-answer.

Your ISDN card may not be configured to answer
incoming calls automatically. If you want your data
software (or fax software for the TA/V.34) to answer
