the LAN should make available software and instructions to you to

Using ML-PPP and PPP Connections in Windows 95

Use the following example for setting up ML-PPP and PPP for local
and long distance calls.
1.
Under Dial-Up Networking, double-click the Make New
Connection icon.
2.
Name the connection, for example, ISDN Connection to Internet.
3.
Under Select a Modem, choose TA/V.34 or TA.
4.
Click Configure. A window with three tabs appears.
5.
Under the General tab, make sure that the maximum speed is set
to 115,200 bps.
The %Bn command, set in the init string installed in the TA/V.34
or TA *.inf file, will force connections to 460,800 bps so as to
insure maximum utilization of the two B-channels. However
115,200 bps must be selected under the maximum speed list box.
6.
Back in the Make New Connection dialog box click Next.
7.
In the next dialog box enter the telephone number you want to dial
in the Dial-Up Networking dialog box.
Since ML-PPP uses two phone numbers to set up connections on
both B-channels, you must enter the two phone numbers separated
by an ampersand "&." The two numbers may be the same number
repeated. If the numbers you are dialing require an area code or
country code, include the area or country code, and an initial "1" or
"011" if necessary, for each number.
Note
See the following examples, Example A (for local calls) and
Example B (for long distance calls), for setting up ML-PPP
and PPP numbers. After reviewing these examples, continue
on to step 8.
Example A
Your local area code is (123).
