Once the screws at the bottom of each flange are secure, install the remaining two rack mount screws.
Be sure that all screws are securely tightened.

Connecting the Power Supply Cable

Follow the steps below to connect a power supply with a cable:

Be sure the switch and power shelf are securely fastened to the rack.

Connect the proper end of the supplied power supply cable to the appropriately labeled primary or
backup connector on the switch and tighten securely.
3
Connect the other end of the power supply cable to the power supply and securely tighten.
4 Connect the power cord to the power supply.
Note. The diagrams below show examples of mounting the switch and power supplies in both a 2U and
3U scenario. Depending on the switch model, power supplies, and rack mounting options the actual
mounting options will vary.
