6. TROUBLESHOOTING
The tilt sensor has
incongruous values
Communication problems
between the MMI circuit
board and main circuit board

The parameter for the type
of robotic lawnmower is
different in the MMI circuit
board and main circuit
board.
Calibrate the tilt sensor. See
"Calibrate tilt sensor (5-4-2)" on
page 26.
Replace the main circuit board. See
"5.9 Replacing the main circuit board"
on page 59.
Restart the mower by placing the
main switch in position 0, wait
10 seconds and then turn the main
switch to position 1.
Make sure the cable between the
MMI circuit board and main circuit
board is connected properly. Check
also that the cable is not damaged,
pinched, or that its connector is not
damaged.
Change MMI cable.
Replace the MMI circuit board. See
"5.10 Replacing the MMI circuit
board" on page 59.
Replace the main circuit board. See
"5.9 Replacing the main circuit board"
on page 59.
Replace the MMI circuit board.
Make sure the cable between the
MMI circuit board and the keypad is
properly connected.
Replace the keypad. See "5.11

Replace the MMI circuit board.
Replace the MMI circuit board.
The parameter can only be entered
at the initial programming of the main
circuit board. It may not be changed
afterwards. Replace the main circuit
board and ensure that the correct
robotic lawnmower model is selected.
A used MMI circuit board can be used
only if it has previously been fitted to
the same type of robotic lawnmower.
Thus, one cannot, for instance use
an MMI circuit board in a Husqvarna
305 if it has previously been fitted to
a GARDENA R40Li.
