Once t he print er has rest art ed t he
signifying t hat an I P address has been obt ained. Allow up t o 90
seconds for t he print er t o ret rieve an I P addr ess.
At t his point it is recom m ended t o print a Net work Report . This
Net work Report is generat ed by t he print er and list s im port ant
default inform at ion such as t he I P and MAC Addresses as well
as SSI D for wireless connect ions. To print t he 'Net work
Report ': Press t he PAUSE, FEED , CAN CEL but t ons at t he
sam e t im e.
Once t he previous st eps have been successfully com plet ed you
m ay now use t he I P Address t o inst all a print er driver, and
st art print ing from your Windows

B.2 .1 W ir e le ss Se t up – Ad- H oc
Aft er a successful set up is m ade via a wired connect ion, t he Wireless connect ion ( if equipped) can
now be configured in ad- hoc m ode using a st at ic I P address. To configure t he wireless card in Ad-
hoc m ode, you m ust configure your host com put er t o m at ch t he I P set t ings of t he print er. Refer t o
your operat ing syst em 's or your wireless net work card docum ent at ion for inform at ion on how t o
configure your com put er.
1. Open your web browser. Type in t he I P
Address of t he print er. The Default I P is:
192.168.10.26.

I f a different I P Address has been
assigned t o t he print er, m ake sure t o
ent er t he correct I P address.

2. Click on t he " Wireless Et hernet Set t ings" m enu it em on t he left side of t he screen. Locat e and
set t he following it em s:

I n t he " Acquire Address Met hod" sect ion, select t he " Use St at ic Addresses" radio
but t on.

I n t he " St at ic I P Addresses" sect ion, ent er valid st at ic I P addr esses for Print er I P
Address, Print er Subnet Mask, and Print er Gat eway.
3. Scroll down t he page t o " Net work Type" , select " Ad- hoc" from t he drop down box.
