The Menu Syst em cont ains t hree prim ary branches, each wit h a differing level of access t o
secondary m enus or funct ions:

The User Menu accesses basic print er set t ings and funct ions;

The Advanced Menu accesses all operat ional set t ings, funct ions, and diagnost ics; and,

The Test Menu accesses a m enu of t est , user- defined, and previous label print ing
funct ions.

( 2) Display cont rast is adj ust able: press and hold t he MENU BUTTON t o cycle t hrough t he cont rast
range ( t his m ay t ake several seconds) t hen release t he but t on when t he desired appearance has
been achieved.

To change pr int er set t ings or perform diagnost ics, press t he
MENU But t on t hen observ e t he display for available select ions.
( When t he num ber of select ions present is great er t han can be
shown, use t he UP or DOWN But t ons t o view t hose addit ional
it em s.) Also, Soft Key Labels are dynam ic and change t o denot e
t he current associat ed Soft Key funct ions.)

UP But t on: Accesses t he Syst em Window, or ascends t hrough
branches, levels, it em s, and increm ent s set t ings in t he Menu
Syst em . Press and hold t o view print er syst em inform at ion.

DOWN But t on: Descends t hrough branches, levels, it em s, and
decrem ent s set t ings.

TEST But t on: Ent ers t he Test Menu; or, if already in t he Menu
Syst em , advances t o next level or it em , and m oves cursor
posit ion. Press and hold t o init iat e t he print head cleaning rout ine.
